Twenty-seven, brunette, out of De Pijp, and the sort of therapist who checks the radiator before she checks the time. English is the language on her page and there is not much of it in the room once the hour is under way. She works slowly down from the shoulders and does not narrate any of it. Whatever an hour holds is her call, spoken aloud in the opening minutes so that nothing about it has to be guessed.
